নোয়াখালীতে ১৫শ একর সম্পত্তি উদ্ধারে উচ্ছেদ অভিযান , An evacuation operation to recover 1500 acres of property in Noakhali

নোয়াখালী পানি উন্নয়ন বোর্ডের অধীন ছোট-বড় খালের পাড়ে ১৫০০ একর সম্পত্তি উদ্ধারে অবৈধ দখল উচ্ছেদ অভিযান শুরু করা হয়েছে। 

সোমবার জেলা সদরের মন্নান নগর চৌরাস্তা এলাকায় তিন শতাধিক স্থাপনা উচ্ছেদের মধ্য দিয়ে এ অভিযান শুরু করা হয়।

নির্বাহী ম্যাজিষ্ট্রেট ও সদর সহকারি কমিশনার (ভূমি) মো. জাকারিয়ার নেতেৃত্বে এ অভিযান পরিচালিত হয়। এ সময় উপস্থিত ছিলেন, পানি উন্নয়ন বোর্ড নোয়াখালী জেলা কার্যালয়ের নির্বাহী প্রকৌশলী নাসির উদ্দিন। উচ্ছেদ অভিযানে সহযোগিতা করেন পুলিশ ও সেনাবাহিনী।

এ সময় ওই এলাকার বরোপিট খালের পাশে থাকা অবৈধ আধা পাকা ভবন ও টিনশেড ঘর স্কেভেটর মেশিন দিয়ে ভেঙে গুড়িয়ে দেয়া হয়। 

পানি উন্নয়ন বোর্ড সূত্রে জানা যায়, নোয়াখালীর বিভিন্ন স্থানে প্রায় ১৫০০ একর সম্পত্তি অবৈধভাবে দখল করে রাখা হয়েছে। এ সম্পত্তিতে প্রায় ১৩০০ অবৈধ স্থাপনা রয়েছে। বরাদ্ধ পাওয়া সাপেক্ষে এগুলো পর্যায়ক্রমে উচ্ছেদ করা হবে।

Under the Noakhali Water Development Board, illegal encroachment drive has been launched to recover 1500 acres of property on the banks of small canals.

The operation was launched on Monday in the district headquarters of Mannan Nagar Chowrasta through over 1300 buildings.

Executive Magistrate and Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. The campaign was led by Zacharias. Nasir Uddin, executive engineer of the Noakhali District Office, was present at the time. Police and army assisted in the evacuation.

At that time, illegal semi-paved buildings and tinshed houses adjacent to the baropit canal of the area were broken into with a scavenger machine.

Water Development Board sources said that around 1500 acres of property has been illegally occupied at various places in Noakhali. There are about 1300 illegal establishments on this property. Subject to the allotment, they will be removed periodically.
