নোয়াখালীর কবিরহাটে যুবকের ঘাঁড় কাটা মরদেহ উদ্ধার। A young man's body was recovered at Kabirhat in Noakhali.

নোয়াখালীর কবিরহাট উপজেলার সোন্দলপুর ইউনিয়ন থেকে অজ্ঞাত (৩২) যুবকের ঘাঁড় কাটা মরদেহ উদ্ধার করেছে পুলিশ। এ সময় মরদেহের পাশ থেকে বিভিন্ন আলামত সংগ্রহ করা হয়েছে।

শুক্রবার কবিরহাট-সোনাপুর সড়কের সোন্দলপুর চৌরাস্তা মিয়া বাড়ি সংলগ্ন সড়কের পাশ থেকে মরদেহটি উদ্ধার করা হয়।

স্থানীয় ইউপি সদস্য নজরুল ইসলাম বলেন, ভোরে ফজরের নামাজ শেষ করে স্থানীয় মসজিদ থেকে লোকজন বের হলে মিয়া বাড়ি এলাকার সড়কের পাশে কম্বল প্যাঁচানো অবস্থায় মরদেহ পড়ে থাকতে দেখে থানায় খবর দেন। পরে কবিরহাট থানা পুলিশ ও পুলিশ ব্যুরো অব ইনভেস্টিগশন (পিবিআই) একটি দল ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছে নিহতের মরদেহ উদ্ধার করে।
কবিরহাট থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা (ওসি) মির্জা মোহাম্মদ হাছান বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করে জানান, নিহতের ঘাড় ধারালো অস্ত্র দিয়ে কাটা হয়েছে। তার পা বাঁধা ছিল। ধারণা করা হচ্ছে রাতে কোনো এক সময় দুর্বৃত্তরা এ যুবককে হত্যা করে ট্রাক বা কাভার্ডভ্যান থেকে ফেলে দেয়। নিহতের মরদেহ ময়নাতদন্তের জন্য নোয়াখালী জেনারেল হাসপাতালের মর্গে প্রেরণ করা হয়েছে। 

Noakhali Correspondent: Police recovered dead body of an unidentified (12) youth from Sondalpur union of Kabirhat upazila of Noakhali. During this time, various information has been collected from the side of the body. The body was recovered from the road adjacent to the Sondalpur Chowrasta Mia home on Kabirhat-Sonapur road on Friday. Local UP member Nazrul Islam said that after the morning prayers, people came out of the local mosque and Mia informed the police station that the body was found lying in a blanket along the road in the area. Later, a group of Kabirhat Police Station and Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) reached the spot and recovered the dead body. Acting Officer (OC) of Kabirhat Police Station Mirza Mohammad Hasan confirmed the matter, The neck of the victim was cut with sharp weapons. His legs were tied. It is believed that at one point in the night, the miscreants killed the young man and dumped him in a truck or a covert van. The body of the deceased was sent to Noakhali General Hospital for autopsy.
