নোয়াখালীর সোনাইমুড়ী পৌরসভার গোবিন্দপুর গ্রামে এক দুবাই প্রবাসীর বাড়ি লকডাউন ঘোষণা করেছে উপজেলা প্রশাসন। করোনাভাইরাসের উপসর্গ থাকা সন্দেহে ওই পরিবারের পাঁচজন নারী, দুইজন পুরুষ ও দুই শিশুকে কোয়ারেন্টাইন সেন্টারে রাখা হয়েছে। বিকালে সোনাইমুড়ী উপজেলা নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা টিনা পাল ওই প্রবাসীর বাড়ীটি লকডাউন ঘোষণা করেন।

সোনাইমুড়ী উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার পরিকল্পনা কর্মকর্তা ডা. মাইনুল ইসলাম জানান, গত ২২ মার্চ ওই পরিবারের একজন সদস্য দুবাই থেকে দেশে এসেছিলেন। এর মধ্যে পরিবারের কয়েকজন সদস্য সর্দি ও জ্বরে আক্রান্ত হয়েছে, এমন তথ্যের ভিত্তিতে হাসপাতালের অ্যাম্বুলেন্স পাঠিয়ে ওই পরিবারের নয়জন সদস্যকে হাসপাতালে আনা হয়। তবে ওই প্রবাসী বাড়ির বাইরে থাকায় তাকে আনা সম্ভব হয়নি। তাকে খুঁজতে স্থানীয় প্রশাসন কাজ করছে।

তিনি আরও জানান, প্রবাসীর পরিবারের ওই সদস্যদের পৌরসভার ৯ নম্বর ওয়ার্ডের নবাবগঞ্জ সরকারি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় কোয়ারেন্টাইন সেন্টারের দ্বিতীয় তলা চিকিৎসকদের তত্ত্বাবধানে রাখা হয়েছে। বর্তমানে তাদের শারীরিক অবস্থা ভালো। কোয়ারেন্টাইনের সময় শেষ হলে তাদের সবার শারীরিক অবস্থা দেখে ছাড়পত্র দেয়া হবে।

সোনাইমুড়ী উপজেলা নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা টিনা পাল জানান, লকডাউন করা বাড়িটি বর্তমানে প্রশাসনের নজরদারীতে রয়েছে। এলাকায় সতর্কতামূলক মাইকিং করা হয়েছে।

At present their physical condition is good. At the end of the quarantine period, all of them will be exempted from their physical condition. Sonaimuri Upazila Executive Officer Tina Pal said the lockdown house is currently under administration's supervision. Precautionary micking has been done in the area.
