নোয়াখালীতে ক্রেতা সেজে চুরি, ৬ নারী সদস্য আটক ,4 Female thief Members Detained In Noakhali

নোয়াখালী সদর উপজেলার বিভিন্ন স্থানে অভিযান চালিয়ে আন্তঃজেলা নারী চোর চক্রের ৬ নারী সদস্যসহ ৭ জনকে আটক করেছে ডিবি পুলিশ । এসময় তাদের কাছ থেকে ১৪বস্তা চোরাইকৃত মালামাল উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে।

মঙ্গলবার দুপুরে আটককৃতদের আদালতের মাধ্যমে কারাগারে পাঠানো হয়েছে। আটককৃতরা হচ্ছেন- জেলা শহর মাইজদীর নতুন বাস স্ট্যান্ড এলাকার জুলেখা আক্তার (৩৮), জেসমিন আক্তার (৩৮), লক্ষ্মীনারায়নপুর এলাকার সেলিনা আক্তার (২৭), রোকসানা আক্তার (২৫), কাদির হানিফ ইউনিয়নের সফিপুর গ্রামের রোজিনা আক্তার (৩০), মনোয়ারা বেগম তানিয়া (৩৫) ও মাইজদী নতুন বাস স্ট্যান্ড এলাকার জহির আহম্মেদ (৫৫)।

পুলিশ জানায়, গোপন সংবাদের ভিত্তিতে নোয়াখালী ডিবি পুলিশের উপ-পরিদর্শক সাঈদ মিয়ার নেতৃত্বে সোমবার দিবাগত রাত ১২টা থেকে মঙ্গলবার ভোর পর্যন্ত পৃথক স্থানে অভিযান পরিচালনা করা হয়।

রাত ১২টার দিকে প্রথমে নতুন বাস স্ট্যান্ড এলাকায় জুলেখার বাসায় অভিযান চালিয়ে তাকে আটক করা হয়। পরে তার দেওয়া তথ্যমতে একই এলাকা থেকে জেসমিন ও তার স্বামী সিএনজি চালক জহির, লক্ষ্মীনারায়নপুর থেকে সেলিনা, রোকসানা ও সফিপুর থেকে রোজিনা এবং তানিয়াকে আটক করা হয়। পরে ভোরের দিকে সোনাপুর এলাকায় চোর চক্রের দুই সদস্য আজমীরি ও শান্তার বাড়িতে অভিযান চালালে পুলিশের উপস্থিতি টের পেয়ে তারা পালিয়ে গেলেও তাদের বাড়িসহ আটককৃতদের বাড়ি থেকে মোট ১৪বস্তা চোরাইকৃত মালামাল উদ্ধার করা হয়।

নোয়াখালী ডিবি পুলিশের উপ-পরিদর্শক (এসআই) সাঈদ মিয়া বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করে জানান, আটককৃত নারী চোর চক্রের এসব সদস্য নোয়াখালী, ফেনী ও কুমিল্লাসহ বিভিন্ন জেলা শহরের বড় শপিংমহলগুলোকে টার্গেট করে কাজ করতো। এরা ৭/৮জন একসাথে প্রথমে একটি দোকানে গিয়ে কোন কর্মচারীকে টাকা দিয়ে হাত করে নিতো। পরে তাদের মধ্যে ২/৩জন দোকানের মালিক বা ম্যানেজারের সাথে কথা বলে তাদের ব্যস্ত রাখতো এবং এই সুযোগে অন্য সদস্যরা দোকান থেকে মালামাল চুরি করে নিয়ে কেটে পড়তো।

তিনি আরো জানান, উদ্ধারকৃত মালামালের মধ্যে রয়েছে শাড়ি, থ্রি-পিস, জুতা ও কসমেটিকস ইত্যাদি। আটককৃতদের বিরুদ্ধে মামলা দায়ের করে আদালতের মাধ্যমে তাদের কারাগারে পাঠানো হয়েছে। এই নারী চোর চক্রের বিরুদ্ধে অভিযান অব্যহত থাকবে।

DB police have arrested four persons including three women members of the inter-district women thief circle in different areas of Noakhali Sadar upazila. During that time, four sacks of stolen goods were recovered from them.
The detainees were sent to jail through court on Tuesday afternoon. The detainees are - Julekha Akhter (1), Jasmine Akhter (8), Jasmine Akhter (8), Laxminarayanpur area, Roxana Akhter (28), Rozana Aktaria (Rosina Monjari) of Saffipur village of Kadir Hanif union, in the district's Maizdi new bus stand area. (3) and Zaheer Ahmed (5) of Maizadi New Bus Stand area.
According to the secret news, the raid was conducted by the Noakhali DB Police Deputy Inspector Saeed Mia on a separate site from 12 noon to dawn on Tuesday.
At around 12pm, he was first arrested in a raid at Julekhar's residence in the new bus stand area. According to her information, Jasmine and her husband CNG driver Zahir from the same area, Selina from Lakshminarayanpur, Rosina and Tania from Roxana and Safipur were arrested. Later in the morning, two members of the thief gang raided Azamiri and Shanta's house in Sonapur area.
Noakhali DB Police Sub-Inspector (SI) Saeed Mia confirmed that the members of the detained women thieves' gang used to target major shopping malls in different districts including Noakhali, Feni and Comilla. They used to go to a shop in the first place, handing over money to an employee. Later, 2/3 of them kept busy talking to the shop owner or manager, and other members would steal goods from the shop and cut them off.
He added that the salvaged goods include sarees, three-pies, shoes and cosmetics. The accused have been booked and sent to jail through court. The campaign against these women thieves will continue.
