করোনাভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত সন্দেহে নোয়াখালীর সোনাইমুড়ী উপজেলার দেওটি ইউনিয়নের দুইটি পরিবারের ৬ জন সদস্যকে আইসোলেশনে রাখা হয়েছে। এদের মধ্যে দুইজন শিশু রয়েছে। উপজেলা প্রশাসন থেকে আইসোলেশনে থাকা রোগীদের বাড়ি দুইটি লকডাউন ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে।
বুধবার সোনাইমুড়ী উপজেলা নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা টিনা পাল বাড়ি দুইটি লকডাউন ঘোষণা করেন। এর আগে মঙ্গলবার রাতে সর্দি ও জ্বর নিয়ে শিশুসহ ৬ জন রোগীর উপসর্গগুলো দেখে তাদের সোনাইমুড়ী উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সের আইসোলেশন ওয়ার্ডে ভর্তি করা হয়।
সোনাইমুড়ী উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার পরিকল্পনা কর্মকর্তা ডা. মাইনুল ইসলাম বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করে জানান, মঙ্গলবার রাতে স্থানীয় জনপ্রতিনিধিদের দেওয়া তথ্যের ভিত্তিতে সরকারি এ্যাম্বুলেন্স পাঠিয়ে ৬ জন রোগীকে হাসপাতালে নিয়ে আসা হয়। তাদের সবার সর্দি ও জ্বর ছিল। বর্তমানে শিশুরা ছাড়া বাকিদের অবস্থা ভালো।
তিনি আরও জানান, গত কয়েকদিন আগে অসুস্থ ব্যক্তিরা একজন দুবাই প্রবাসী আত্মীয়ের সংস্পর্শে এসেছিলেন। এরপর থেকে জ্বরে ভোগলেও তারা তথ্য গোপন করে। ভর্তিকৃত সবার শরীর থেকে নমুনা সংগ্রহ করে পরীক্ষার জন্য বিকেলে চট্টগ্রামে পাঠানো হয়ে।
সোনাইমুড়ী উপজেলা নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা টিনা পাল জানান, অসুস্থদের বাড়ি দু’টি লকডাউন ঘোষণা করে প্রশাসনের নজরদারিতে রাখা হয়েছে। একই সাথে এলাকায় সতর্কতামূলক মাইকিং করা হয়েছে।
