নোয়াখালীর সেনবাগ উপজেলার কেশারপাড় ইউনিয়নের কেশারপাড় রাস্তার মাথায় বিকাল ৪ টায় মোটরসাইকেল দুর্ঘটনায় এক স্কুল ছাত্র এবং তার ৩ সহপাঠি আহত হয়েছে।
নিহত স্কুল ছাত্র সৈকত হোসেন সীমান্ত (১৪) উপজেলার বীরকোট মাঝি বাড়ির নুরনবীর ছেলে এবং কানকিরহাট বহুমুখী উচ্চ বিদ্যালয় থেকে চলতি বছর জেএসসি পরীক্ষায় অংশগ্রহণ করেছিল। আহতরা তার সহপাঠী। তাদের নাম ও পরিচয় তাৎক্ষনিক জানা যায়নি। এ দুর্ঘটনায় এলাকায় শোকের ছায়া নেমে আসে।
সেনবাগ থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা (ওসি) মিজানুর রহমান বলেন, সৈকতসহ তার তিন সহপাঠি বিকালে একটি মোটরসাইকেল নিয়ে ঘুরতে বের হয়। পরে, তারা কানকিরহাট-বীরকোর্ট সড়কের কেশারপাড় রাস্তার মাথায় উঠলে, মোটরসাইকেলটি নিয়ন্ত্রণ হারিয়ে সড়কের পাশের গাছের সাথে ধাক্কা দেয়। এতে সৈকতের মাথা ফেটে প্রচুর রক্তক্ষরণ হয় ও অপর তিন সহপাঠি আহত হয়। পরে, স্থানীয়রা তাদের উদ্ধার করে স্থানীয় হাসপাতালে নিয়ে গেলে, কর্তব্যরত চিকিৎসক সৈকতকে মৃত ঘোষণা করেন।

A school student and his three classmates were injured in a motorcycle accident at Kasarpar Road of Kesarpar Union in Senbag upazila of Noakhali.
The deceased school student, Saikat Hossain Border (1), was the son of Nurunbir of Birkot Middle-house of Upazila and participated in the JSC examination this year from Kankirhat Multipurpose High School. The injured were his classmates. Their names and identities were not immediately known. Tragedy brings shadow to the area.
Senbagh Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mizanur Rahman said three of his classmates were out on a motorcycle in the afternoon. Later they were on their way to Kesarpar on Kankirhat-Birkourt road, the motorcycle lost control and pushed with trees along the road. The head of the beach was severely bleeding and three other classmates were injured. Later, locals rescued them and brought them to a local hospital. The duty doctor declared the beach dead.
