নোয়াখালী বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ^বিদ্যালয় (নোবিপ্রবি) শিক্ষক সমিতির নির্বাচন-২০২০ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে। নির্বাচনে মুক্তিযুদ্ধের চেতনায় বিশ্বাসী প্রগতিশীল শিক্ষক প্যানেল ‘নীল দল’ পূর্ণ প্যানেল নির্বাচিত হয়েছে।
সভাপতি হিসেবে নীল দলের অ্যাপ্লাইড কেমিস্ট্রি অ্যান্ড কেমিক্যাল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিভাগের অধ্যাপক ড. নেওয়াজ মোহাম্মদ বাহাদুর এবং সাধারণ সম্পাদক হিসেবে অর্থনীতি বিভাগের সহকারী অধ্যাপক মো. মজনুর রহমান নির্বাচিত হন।
শুক্রবার (১৩ ডিসেম্বর) সকাল ৯টা থেকে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের হাজী মোহাম্মদ ইদ্রিস অডিটোরিয়ামে ভোট গ্রহণ শুরু হয়। বিকাল ৫টায় আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে ফলাফল ঘোষণা করেন, প্রধান নির্বাচন কমিশনার বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ফিশারিজ অ্যান্ড মেরিন সায়েন্স বিভাগের সহযোগী অধ্যাপক ড. মোহাম্মদ বেলাল হোসেন।
নির্বাচনে আওয়ামীপন্থী দুই দল, নীল দল ও স্বাধীনতা শিক্ষক পরিষদ প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বিতা করে। ফলাফলে দেখা যায়, মোট ১১টি পদের সবকটিতেই নীল দল জয় লাভ করে।
অন্যান্য পদে নির্বাচিতরা হলেন, সহ-সভাপতি পদে ফিমস বিভাগের সহযোগী অধ্যাপক ড. মো. আনিসুজ্জামান, যুগ্ম সাধারণ সম্পাদক পদে অর্থনীতি বিভাগের সহকারী অধ্যাপক মোহাম্মদ ইকবাল হোসেন, কোষাধ্যক্ষ পদে ফার্মেসি বিভাগের সহকারী অধ্যাপক ড. মো. সহিদ সারওয়ার, প্রচার সম্পাদক পদে বিজিই বিভাগের সহকারী অধ্যাপক ড. আরাধন সরকার, সংস্কৃতি ও ক্রীড়া সম্পাদক পদে অর্থনীতি বিভাগের সহকারী অধ্যাপক মো. মুহাইমিনুল ইসলাম সেলিম।
অপরদিকে, কার্যকরী সদস্য হিসেবে নির্বাচিতরা হলেন, মাইক্রোবায়োলজি বিভাগের সহযোগী অধ্যাপক ড. ফিরোজ আহমেদ, সিএসটিই বিভাগের প্রভাষক একিউএম সালাউদ্দীন পাঠান, বাংলা বিভাগের প্রভাষক সাহানা রহমান ও বিএমবি বিভাগের সহকারী অধ্যাপক তনিমা সরকার।
