নোয়াখালীর সেনবাগ উপজেলার মোহম্মদপুর ইউনিয়ন থেকে হাছিনা আক্তার পাখি (২৯) নামে এক গৃহবধূর লাশ উদ্ধার করেছে পুলিশ।
নিহতের পরিবারের অভিযোগ স্বামীর মারধরের বিরুদ্ধে থানায় অভিযোগ করায় তাকে শ^াসরোধ করে হত্যা করা হয়েছে। তবে পুলিশ বলছে থানা এরকম কোন অভিযোগ আসেনি। ঘটনার পর থেকে নিহতের স্বামী আনোয়ার হোসেন (৩৮) ও তার পরিবারের লোকজন পলাতক রয়েছে।
বৃহস্পতিবার দক্ষিণ রাজারামপুর গ্রাম থেকে নিহতের লাশ উদ্ধার করেছে পুলিশ।
নিহত হাছিনা আক্তার পাখি দাগনভূঁঞা উপজেলার পূর্ব চন্দ্রপুর ইউনিয়নের বেটারপাড়া গ্রামের আবু তাহেরের মেয়ে। তিনি দুই ছেলে ও এক মেয়ের জননী।
নিহতের চাচাতো ভাই ইউনুছ অভিযোগ করে বলেন, গত ১২বছর পূর্বে সেনবাগ উপজেলার মোহাম্মদপুর ইউনিয়নের দক্ষিণ রাজারামপুর গ্রামের রুহুল আমিনের ছেলে আনোয়ারের সাথে পাখির বিয়ে হয়। এরপর থেকে বিভিন্ন অজুহাতে তাকে মারধর করতো আনোয়ার। সে কোন কাজ করতো না দেখে কয়েক মাস আগে তার ভাই ও শ^শুর মিলে তাকে একটি সিএনজি কিনে দেয়। এরপরও বিভিন্ন সময় টাকার জন্য আনোয়ার পাখিকে মারধর করতো। সর্বশেষ গাড়ীর লাইসেন্স করার টাকার জন্য পাখিকে চাপ দেয় আনোয়ার। দু’দিন আগে পাখির বাবা আনোয়ারকে বিশ হাজার টাকা দেয়, কিন্তু তাতেও আনোয়ারের হয়নি সে আরো টাকার জন্য পাখিকে মারধর করে।
ইউনুছের দাবী বুধবার পাখি থানায় গিয়ে তাকে মারধরের ঘটনায় একটি সাধারণ ডায়েরি করে এবং তার একটি কপি বাড়ীতে নিয়ে আসে। এ ঘটনার জের ধরে রাতে আনোয়ার বাড়ীতে এসে কপিটি ছিঁড়ে আগুনে পুঁড়িয়ে পেলে এবং পাখিকে মারধর করে হত্যা করে ঘরের মধ্যে ঝুলিয়ে রেখে পালিয়ে যায়।
সেনবাগ থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা (ওসি) মিজানুর রহমান জানান, নিহত হাছিনা আক্তার পাখির কোন লিখিত অভিযোগ আমরা পাইনি। লাশ উদ্ধার করে ময়না তদন্তের জন্য নোয়াখালী জেনারেল হাসপাতালের মর্গে পাঠানো হয়েছে। অভিযোগের ভিত্তিতে প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করা হবে।

Police recovered the body of a housewife named Hachina Akhter Pakhi (25) from Mohammadpur Union of Senbag upazila of Noakhali.
The husband's wife was allegedly beaten to death by her husband at the police station. However, police say the police station has not received any such complaint. The victim's husband, Anwar Hossain, 4, and his family have been absconding since the incident.
Police recovered the dead body from the village of South Rajarampur on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Hachina Akhter, daughter of Abu Taher of Betarpara village of East Chandrapur union of Daganbhanya upazila. He is the mother of two sons and a daughter.
The victim's cousin Yunusch alleged that the bird was married to Anwar, son of Ruhul Amin, a resident of South Rajarampur village of Mohammadpur union of Senbagh upazila 12 years ago. From then on, Anwar used to beat him for various reasons. Seeing that he was not doing any work, a few months ago, his brother and his brother-in-law bought him a CNG. Even then, Anwar used to beat the birds for money at different times. Anwar stresses to the bird for the latest car licensing money. Two days ago, the father of the bird gave Anwar twenty thousand rupees, but even Anwar did not beat the bird for more money.
Yunus claims that the bird went to the police station on Wednesday and made a simple diary of the incident and brought a copy of it to the house. In the wake of this incident, Anwar came to Anwar's house and burnt the copy in a fire and beat the bird and killed it and left it hanging in the house.
Acting Officer (OC) of the Senbagh Police Station Mizanur Rahman said, "We have not received any written complaint of the deceased Hachina Akhter. The body was recovered and sent to Noakhali General Hospital morgue for autopsy. Necessary action will be taken on the basis of complaint.
