নোয়াখালীর চাটখিল উপজেলার রামগঞ্জ-চাটখিল সড়কের চাটখিল ফায়ার সার্ভিস ষ্টেশনের সামনে দুপুরে বাস চাপায় নুসরাত (৮) নামে মাদ্রাসা পড়ুয়া এক ছাত্রী নিহত হয়েছে।
নিহত নুসরাত উপজেলার পোরকোট ইউনিয়নের দশঘরিয়া গ্রামের নুর হোসেনের মেয়ে এবং একই এলাকার রামদেবপুর বাইতুল উলুম মাদ্রাসার প্রথম জামাতের ছাত্রী ছিল।
চাটখিল থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা (ওসি) আনোয়ারুল ইসলাম বলেন, দুুুপুরে রামগঞ্জ-চাটখিল সড়কের চাটখিল ফায়ার সার্ভিস ষ্টেশনের সামনে রামগঞ্জগামী জননী সার্ভিসের একটি বাস ওই ছাত্রীকে চাপা দিলে ঘটনাস্থলেই তার মৃত্যু হয়। ঘাতক বাসটি আটক করা হলেও ড্রাইভার পলাতক রয়েছে।
তিনি আরো জানান, নিহতের পরিবারের পক্ষ থেকে এ ঘটনায় মামলা দায়ের করা হয়েছে।

A student of a madrasa named Nusrat (1) was killed when a bus hit a bus in front of the Chatkhill Fire Service Station at Ramganj-Chatkhil road in Noakhali.
The deceased was the daughter of Nur Hossain of Dasgharia village of Porkot union of Nusrat upazila and the first Jamaat student of Ramdevpur Baitul Ulum Madrasa in the same area.
Officer-in-Charge of Chatkhill Police Station (OC) Anwarul Islam said that the girl died on the spot when a bus of Ramganj-going Janani Service was hit by a bus in front of the Chatkhil Fire Service Station at Ramganj-Chatkhil road. The deadly bus was seized, but the driver was on the run.
He added that a case has been filed on behalf of the family of the victim.
