নোয়াখালীর প্রত্যন্ত অঞ্চলে স্বাস্থ্য সেবাকে আরো এগিয়ে নিতে কমিউনিটির অংশগ্রহণ জরুরী। স্থানীয়দের অংশগ্রহণ ছাড়া কমিউনিটি ক্লিনিকগুলোর সেবার মান বৃদ্ধি বা শতভাগ স্বাস্থ্যসেবা নিশ্চিত সম্ভব নয়। প্রান্তিক পর্যায়ে স্বাস্থ্য সেবা নিশ্চিত করতে চিকিৎসা প্রশাসনের সঙ্গে সর্বস্তরের মানুষকে একসঙ্গে কাজ করতে হবে।
রোববার জেলা শহর মাইজদীর একটি কমিউনিটি সেন্টারে স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার কল্যাণ মন্ত্রণালয়ের উদ্যোগে আয়োজিত এক কর্মশালায় এসব কথা বলেন বক্তারা।

লায় বক্তব্য রাখেন, স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের হাসপাতাল ও ক্লিনিক সমূহের পরিচালক (ঢাকা) ডা. আমিনুল হাসান, জেলা প্রশাসক তন্ময় দাস, পুলিশ সুপার মো. আলমগীর হোসেন, সিভিল সার্জন ডা. মোমিনুর রহমানসহ অনেকে।
কর্মশালায় বিভিন্ন ইউনিয়নের জনপ্রতিনিধি, উন্নয়নকর্মী, সামাজিক সংগঠনের নেতৃবৃন্দ, সাংবাদিকসহ বিভিন্ন শ্রেণি পেশার মানুষ অংশগ্রহণ করেন।
Noakhali representative
Community participation is essential to advance health care in the remote areas of Noakhali. Without the participation of the locals, it is not possible to increase the quality of services of community clinics or to ensure 100% healthcare. All levels of people have to work together with the medical administration to ensure health care at the marginal level.
The speakers were speaking at a workshop organized by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare at a community center in the district city of Maizadi on Sunday.

People's representatives from different unions, development workers, leaders of social organizations, journalists and people of different classes participated in the workshop.
