নোয়াখালীর কোম্পানীগঞ্জে রেকটিফাইড স্পিরিট সেবনে ৬ জনের অস্বাভাবিক মৃত্যুর ঘটনায় আদালতের নির্দেশে ময়নাতদন্ত ছাড়া দাফন করার ৩ মাস ২৫ দিন পর কবর থেকে আব্দুল খালেক (৭১) ও ওমর ফারুক লিটন (৫০) নামে দুই ব্যক্তির লাশ উত্তোলন করেছে পুলিশ। এর আগে, গতকাল সোমবার দুপুর ১টা থেকে বিকাল ৪টা পর্যন্ত উপজেলার সিরাজপুর ইউনিয়নের মোহাম্মদনগর গ্রামের ফয়েজ আহম্মদ এর ছেলে ড্রাইভার মহি উদ্দিন (৪০) ও একই ইউনিয়নের ৫নং ওয়ার্ডের মৃত রইসুল হক এর ছেলে সবুজ (৪৫) এর লাশ কবর থেকে উত্তোলন করা হয়। এ নিয়ে ৪ জনের লাশ উত্তোলন করে ময়নাতদন্তের জন্য নোয়াখালী জেনারেল হাসপাতাল মর্গে পাঠানো হলো। ওই সময় নুরনবী মানিক ও রবি লাল দে এর লাশের ময়না তদন্ত শেষে দাফন ও সৎকার করা হয়েছিল।

মঙ্গলবার (২১ জানুয়ারি) দুপুর ১টা থেকে বিকাল ৪ টা পর্যন্ত উপজেলার চর কাঁকড়া ইউনিয়নের ৪নং ওয়ার্ডের মৃত আব্দুল আজিজ এর ছেলে আব্দুল খালেক (৭১) ও বসুরহাট পৌরসভা ৮নং ওয়ার্ডের মৃত আব্দুর রহমান এর ছেলে ওমর ফারুক লিটন (৫০) এর পারিবারিক কবরস্থান থেকে দুই জনের মরদেহ উত্তোলন করা হয়।

মামলার তদন্ত কর্মকর্তা উপ-পরিদর্শক আনোয়ার হোসেন জানান, গত বছরের (২৬ সেপ্টেম্বর) রাতে ও পরের দিন সকালে বসুরহাট পান বাজারসংলগ্ন রফিক হোমিও হলের স্পিরিট পান করে ৬ জনের মৃত্যু হয়। পরে, স্থানীয় শাহজাহান সাজু নামে এক ব্যক্তি রফিক হোমিও হলের মালিক ডা. জায়েদ উল্যাহ (৬৫) ও তার ছেলে মিজানুর রহমান প্রিয়ম (২৯) কে আসামী করে ২৮ সেপ্টেম্বর শনিবার অস্বাভাবিক মৃত্যুর ঘটনায় কোম্পানীগঞ্জ থানায় মামলা দায়ের করেন। মামলা নং-২৭, তারিখ ২৮/৯/২০১৯ইং।

পরে, আদালতের নির্দেশে ময়নাতদন্ত ছাড়া দাফন করায় তাদের মৃত্যুর ৩ মাস ২৫ দিন পর আব্দুল খালেক ও ওমর ফারুক লিটন এর লাশ উত্তোলন করে ময়নাতদন্তের জন্য আজ বিকালে নোয়াখালী জেনারেল হাসপাতাল মর্গে পাঠানো হয়েছে। ওই সময় নুরনবী মানিক ও রবি লাল দে এর লাশের ময়না তদন্ত শেষে দাফন ও সৎকার করা হয়েছিল।

এ সময় উপস্থিত ছিলেন, নোয়াখালী জেলা এক্সিকিউটিভ ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট মো. রোকনুজ্জামান খান ও মামলার তদন্ত কর্মকর্তা ও কোম্পানীগঞ্জ থানার উপ-পরিদর্শক (এসআই) মো. আনোয়ার হোসেন।

উল্লেখ্য, গত বছরের ২৬ সেপ্টেম্বর বৃহস্পতিবার রাতে বসুরহাট বাজারের পান বাজার সংলগ্ন রফিক হোমিও হল দোকানের স্পিরিট পান করলে উপজেলার বিভিন্ন স্থানে এ অস্বাভাবিক মৃত্যুর ঘটনা ঘটে। শুক্রবার সকাল থেকে সন্ধ্যা পর্যন্ত প্রথমে ৫ জনের অস্বাভাবিক মৃত্যুর ঘটনা ঘটে। ২৮ সেপ্টেম্বর শনিবার সকালে ঢাকায় আরো ১জনের মৃত্যু হয়। এ ঘটনায় পুলিশ শুক্রবার রাতে স্পিরিট বিক্রেতার ছেলে মিজানুর রহমান প্রিয়মকে আটক করে। পরে তার ভাষ্যমতে, তার বাবা স্পিরিট বিক্রেতা ডা. জায়েদ উল্যাহকে শনিবার ভোর রাতে ফেনীর দাগনভূইয়ায় অভিযান চালিয়ে পুলিশ আটক করে।
