নোয়াখালীতে অভিযান চালিয়ে ১৫জন জুয়াড়ীকে আটক করেছে ডিবি পুলিশ ,, DB police have arrested 15 gamblers during a raid in Noakhali

নোয়াখালীর কবিরহাট উপজেলার ধানসিঁড়ি ইউনিয়নে অভিযান চালিয়ে ১৫জন জুয়াড়ীকে আটক করেছে গোয়েন্দা পুলিশ ডিবি। এসময় তাদের কাছ থেকে নগদ টাকা জব্দ করা হয়।

বৃহস্পতিবার দুপুরে তাদের আদালতের মাধ্যমে কারাগারে প্রেরণ করা হয়েছে।

ডিবি পুলিশের অফিসার ইনচার্জ জানান, স্থানীয় নলুয়া ভূঁইয়ারহাট বাজারের রহিমের চা দোকানের পিছনে জুয়ার আসর চলছে এমন সংবাদের ভিত্তিতে অভিযান চালানো হয়। এসময় নগদ ২৬০০টাকাসহ ১৫জন জুয়াড়ীকে আটক করা হয়। আটকৃকত সবার বিরুদ্ধে মামলা দায়ের করে আদালতের মাধ্যমে তাদের কারাগারে প্রেরণ করা হয়েছে।

The DB police officer in-charge said the raid was carried out on the basis of the news that the gambling room was running behind Rahim's tea shop in Bhuiarhat Bazar, Naluwa. Three gamblers, including 20 bucks, were arrested. The accused have been sent to jail through a court case against them.
