ইনজেকশন দেওয়ার পর প্রসূতির মৃত্যু, স্বজনদের অভিযোগ ভুল চিকিৎসা / Premature death after injection, relatives' complaint is wrong treatment

নোয়াখালীর কোম্পানীগঞ্জের বসুরহাট মা ও শিশু হাসপাতালে ভুল চিকিৎসার কারণে ইকজেকশন দেওয়ার সাথে সাথে নুরের নাহার (২৮) নামে এক প্রসূতির মৃত্যু হয়েছে বলে অভিযোগ উঠেছে। নিহত গৃহবধূ ৩ সন্তানের জননী ও সাড়ে ৮ মাসের গর্ভবতী ছিল।
বৃহস্পতিবার (৫ ডিসেম্বর) দুপুর ১২টার দিকে বসুরহাট মা ও শিশু হাসপাতালে এ ঘটনা ঘটে। পরে পুলিশের উপস্থিতিতে হাসপাতালের মালিক পক্ষ ও নিহতের স্বজনদের মধ্যে মারমুখি পরিস্থিতি সৃষ্টি হয়। পরে দুপুর সাড়ে ২টার দিকে কোম্পানীগঞ্জ থানার পরিদর্শক (তদন্ত) মো. মোস্তাাফিজুর রহমানের নেতৃত্বে হাসপাতালের সামনে এ্যাম্বুলেন্সে রাখা লাশ থানায় নিয়ে আসে পুলিশ।
নিহতের স্বজনদের অভিযোগ, কোম্পানীগঞ্জ উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সের মেডিকেল অফিসার ডা. রৌশন জাহান লাকীর প্রেসক্রিপশন অনুযায়ী নার্স ইনজেকশন পুশ করার সাথে প্রসূতি মৃত্যুর কোলে ঢলে পড়ে। নিহতের স্বজনদের দাবি, ভুল চিকিৎসায় প্রসূতির মৃত্যু হয়েছে।
মৃত নুরের নাাহার উপজেলার চরকাঁকড়া ইউনিয়নের ৮নং ওয়ার্ডের ঠাডা আলা বাড়ির কামরুজ্জামানের স্ত্রী।

তবে ডা. রৌশন জাহান বলেন, ভুল চিকিৎসায় প্রসূতির মৃত্যু হয়নি। বরং আমার চেয়ে বড় কোন ডাক্তার দিয়ে ঘটনার তদন্ত করলে মৃত্যুর সঠিক কারণ নিশ্চিত হওয়া যাবে বলে তিনি দাবি করেন।
বসুরহাট মা ও শিশু হাসপাতালের চেয়ারম্যান মো.আব্দুল জলিল বলেন, হাসপাতালে রোগীকে সকাল ৮টার দিকে ভর্তি করা হয়ছে, এখানে তেমন কোন চিকিৎসা হয় নাই এ রোগীর। সেখানে ভুল চিকিৎসায় মৃত্যুর প্রশ্নই উঠেনা।
কোম্পানীগঞ্জ থানার পরিদর্শক (তদন্ত) মো. মোস্তাফিজুর রহমান বলেন, নিহত গৃহবধূর লাশ ময়না তদন্তের জন্য নোয়াখালী জেনারেল হাসপাতালের মর্গে প্রেরণ করা হবে। যেহেতু এ মৃত্যু নিয়ে নিহতের  স্বজনেরা মৌখিক ভাবে অভিযোগ করেছে। তবে এ ঘটনায় এখন পর্যন্ত কোন লিখিত অভিযোগ দায়ের করা হয়নি বলে তিনি নিশ্চিত করেন। ময়নাতদন্তের রিপোর্ট হাতে পেলে এ ব্যাপারে বিস্তারিত জানা যাবে।

Nur's Nahar, 25, has been alleged to have died after giving injections due to wrong treatment at Basurhat Mother and Children Hospital in Noakhali's Companyganj. The deceased housewife was the mother of three children and five and a half months pregnant.

The incident took place at Basurhat Mother and Children Hospital on Thursday (December 8) around 12 noon. Later, the presence of the police led to a confrontation between the owners and the relatives of the hospital. Inspector (Investigation) of the companyganj police station at around 2:30 pm. Police were brought to the police station by ambulance in front of the hospital led by Mostafizur Rahman.

Complaints of relatives of the deceased, said the medical officer of the companyganj upazila health complex. According to Raushan Jahan Lucky's prescription, the maternal nurse died after being injected with the injection. The relatives of the deceased claimed that maternity leave died due to wrong treatment.

The deceased was the wife of Kamruzzaman of Thada Ala house of ward no 9 of Charkakara union of Nahar upazila of Noor upazila.

However, Dr. Raushan Jahan said maternity leave did not die due to wrong treatment. In fact, if investigating the incident with a doctor bigger than me, the exact cause of death can be ascertained, he claimed.

Md Abdul Jalil, chairman of Basurhat Mother and Children Hospital, said that the patient was admitted to the hospital around 9 am, there was no treatment for this patient. There is no question of death in the wrong treatment.

Inspector of Companyiganj Police Station (investigation). Mostafizur Rahman said the bodies of the deceased housewife would be sent to Noakhali General Hospital morgue for autopsy. The relatives of the deceased have verbally complained about the death. However, no written complaint has been filed so far, he said. Details of the report will be available if the autopsy report is available.
