নোয়াখালীতে ঘুষ গ্রহণ ও বিদেশী নাগরিককে হেনস্থার অভিযোগে এসআই ক্লোজড/Bribe and foreign nationals in Noakhali SI closed on charges of harassment

নোয়াখালীর কোম্পানীগঞ্জ থানার এসআই শিশির কুমার বিশ^াসকে নোয়াখালী পুলিশ লাইন্সে ক্লোজড করা হয়েছে।
আরব আমিরাতের নাগরিক আলী আহামেদ কে হেনেস্থার মাধ্যমে দুই দুবাই প্রবাসীকে ভয়-ভীতি দেখিয়ে ঘুষ গ্রহণ ও বিমানের টিকিট হাতিয়ে নেওয়ার অভিযোগে (এসআই) কে  ক্লোজড করা হয়েছে।
রোববার বিকেলের দিকে নোয়াখালীর পুলিশ সুপার আলমগীর হোসেন নোয়াখালী পুলিশ লাইনে তাকে ক্লোজড করার নির্দেশ দেন।
ভুক্তভোগীদের সূত্রে জানা যায়, এর আগে গত (২৮ নভেম্বর) রাতে এসআই শিশির প্রবাসীল বাসায় ঢুকে আরব আমিরাতের নাগরিক আলী আহামেদ কে অশালীন কথা বলেন। এক পর্যায়ে ২০ হাজার টাকা দাবি করেন। টাকা না দিলে তাদের গ্রেপ্তারের হুমকি দেন। পরে এসআই শিশিরকে ১২ হাজার টাকা দিলে তিনি চলে যান। এরপর বিষয়টি জেলা পুলিশ সুপারের কাছে জানালে তিনি জেলার অতিরিক্ত পুলিশ সুপার (সদর সার্কেল) কাজী মো. আবদুর রহিমকে বিষয়টি তদন্ত করে প্রতিবেদন দেওয়ার নিদের্শ দেন।
তদন্তে অভিযোগের সত্যতা পেয়ে নোয়াখালীর পুলিশ সুপার অভিযুক্ত (এসআইয়ের) বিরুদ্ধে তড়িৎ পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণ করেন।
কোম্পানীগঞ্জ থানার অফিসার ইনচার্জ (ওসি) মো.আরিফুর রহমান মুঠোফোনে (এসআই) শিশির কুমার বিশ^াসকে ক্লোজড ঘটনার সত্যতা নিশ্চিত করেছেন।

UAE citizen Ali Ahmed K Henseth has been cleared of charges for intimidating two Dubai expatriates (SI) into accepting bribes and handing out plane tickets.

On Sunday afternoon, Noakhali police superintendent Alamgir Hossain ordered him to be closed at the Noakhali police line.

According to the victims, last night (November 23), SI reached the residence of a resident of Shishi and told the Arabian man Ali Ahmed that he was indecent. At one point he demanded Tk 25,000. They threatened to arrest them if they did not pay the money. Later, SI gave Shishir 12,000 taka and he left. Later, the matter was reported to the District Superintendent of Police, he said. Abdur Rahim directed to investigate the matter and report it.

After receiving the truth of the allegations in the investigation, Noakhali's police took immediate action against the accused (SI).

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Companyiganj Police Station Mohammad Arifur Rahman confirmed the authenticity of the closed incident to Mishra (SI) Shish Kumar Kumar.
