নোয়াখালী সেনবাগে কানকিরহাটে জানালা দিয়ে পালানোর সময় ১ মাদ্রাসা ছাত্র নিহত ও গুরুতর আহত হয়েছে একজন।
জানা যায়, সেনবাগ উপজেলার কানকিরহাট বাজারে ইসলামিয়া ক্যাডেট মাদ্রাসায় দুই ছাত্র জানালা দিয়ে পালানোর সময় জহিরুল ইসলাম নামের ১ মাদ্রাসা ছাত্র নিহত ও গুরুতর আহত হয়েছে আরোও এক ছাত্র।
নিহত জহিরুল ইসলাম সাজিদ (১৩)সেনবাগ উপজেলার অস্টাদ্রোন গ্রামের আবুল কাশেম এর ছেলে অন্যদিকে আহত সাইফুল ইসলাম (১৬) জোরাতোল গ্রামের শাহ – আলম এর ছেলে।
এ বিষয়ে সেনবাগ থানা অফিসার ইনচার্জ মিজানুর রহমান জানান, ঘটনাটি শুনার পর মাদ্রাসায় আমি ও ফোর্স গিয়েছিলাম। ময়নাতদন্তের জন্য লাশ নোয়াখালী জেনারেল হাসপাতালে পাঠানো হয়েছে।কোন কারণে বা কিসের জন্য ছাত্ররা লাফ দিয়েছিলো তদন্ত করে পরবর্তী ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করা হবে।

One Madrasa student was killed and seriously injured while fleeing through a window at Kanakirhat in Noakhali Senbagh.
It is learned that one student, Zahirul Islam, was killed and critically injured while two students escaped through the window at Islamia Cadet Madrasa in Kankirhat Bazar of Senbag upazila.
The deceased was identified as Zahirul Islam Sajid, 5, son of Abul Kashem of Ostadrone village of Senbagh upazila, while Saiful Islam (1), son of Shah-Alam of Joratol village.
Senbagh Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mizanur Rahman said that after hearing the incident, I and the force went to the madrasa. The body was sent to Noakhali General Hospital for autopsy. For any reason or for what the students jumped, further action will be taken.
